Back From Florida: A Quick Hello!

It’s been only 1.5 weeks since I returned home from my 6-week artist residency in Captiva, Florida, and here I am back on a plane again. I’ve swapped my bikini and sandals for chunky pullovers and thermal socks as winter temperatures in the Netherlands are about 20 degrees Celsius lower than in Florida. Taking the Plunge: My First Swimming Lesson

It’s rather unusual for a Dutchie in his/her thirties not being able to swim. Yet, I am one of those people. I was pleased to find out my local gym offers swimming lessons for adults and I decided to register for class. That was exactly one year ago.
