Happy Sunday everybody! In case you wondered why it’s been so quiet on my blog for the last weeks, it’s because I was travelling around New Zealand. My body clock is still messed up and my head can’t seem to focus yet, so for now I’ll share some photos from my Instagram feed here with you. Enjoy!
I’m an avid list-making person, from my daily to-do lists to my weekly meal plan to lists with all the films I’ve watched over a year to exhibitions or concerts I’ve been to or the books I’ve read. I am extremely fortunate and feel humbled to be writing this article from the 20-acre Florida estate of the late Robert Rauschenberg, a mercurial artist who bridged the worlds of painting, performance, sculpture, new and found media. For six decades he created wild and pioneering art up to his death in 2008. His Foundation has opened up his home and studio for artists from all over the world and from different backgrounds and I still can’t believe I am one of them.

Earlier this week I went on a 24H-tour around the Netherlands to meet & greet with friends. When I rushed out the house in the morning, I forgot to take my photo camera with me, but kept a 24H Instagram diary instead.
2015 was a great year for Dutch Girl in London. I was invited on several trips, including to Belfast where I was asked to be part of the Belfast International Arts Festival to speak about professional Arts & Culture blogging.
As the days are getting colder and shorter, I’m already anxiously awaiting those long summer days again. It reminds me of my trip to Umeå in the north of Sweden earlier this year where night time only lasted from 3am till 6am!
When my husband recently went to France for work and had to change trains at Paris Gare de l’Est, he came across a big free street art exhibition just outside of the station called Art Liberté. Being the good husband he is, he documented it for his street art-obsessed wife on his phone while dragging a suitcase and guitar through the busy Parisian streets.
