National UK Blog Awards – in spring 2015 my blog finished in the top 11 of Arts & Culture of the entire UK. There had been hundreds of entries within this category from England, Wales and Scotland and I still can’t believe I had been voted as a finalist! This confirmed there are apparently actually people out there who read and enjoy my blog 🙂
ANWB Extra Londen – I was extremely proud to see my East London walking tours featured in the 2017 edition of this Dutch travel guide!
In anticipation of the UK Blog Awards finals in April 2015, I featured in both British and Dutch newspapers and felt like a real celebrity! 🙂
East End Life 13 April 2015 – you can read the digital article in this local London newspaper here.
Brabants Dagblad – in April regional newspaper Brabants Dagblad published a massive article about my nomination in two of their publications (BD Tilburg and BD De Langstraat).
Heusdense Courant 6 May 2015 – the press exposure continued even after the UK Blog Awards! In May I featured in the local Dutch newspaper Heusdense Courant.
TourRadar This popular travel website asked me why London is such a great place to visit. You can read my response in their article Where You Should Travel in 2018 Based on Your Favourite Cocktail.
What I so love about the blog community is that people are keen to share tips with one another and are open for collaborations and even friendships. I am so proud that these following travel, lifestyle and art websites chose to feature my blog. Make sure to check them all out!
Inspiring City – the man behind this fantastic blog is Stuart. We often go to exhibition openings and street art events together. We’re both located in east London and share a passion for street art and London history. I’m super proud to be featured on Inspiring City as one of his favourite blogs to follow.
London Hiker – Catherine asked me to make a contribution for her eBook featuring the favourite London walks by 21 locals and bloggers. My walk (on p16) takes you along Regent’s Canal from Victoria Park to Broadway Market. You can download the eBook here.
Paper Travels – I had been following the lovely Dutch travel blog Paper Travels for a while when I saw author Simone featured guest blogs from bloggers abroad. In a cheeky way I offered to write guest articles about London and luckily Simone accepted this spontaneous offer. You can find my guest blog here.
Stefania Blogt – Dutch travel blogger has been living in Malaga, Spain, for a few years now. When she came down to London with her teenage children, she asked me for some tips and kindly mentioned my blog in her article about her London city trip afterwards.
